Professor Raphael Brooke is one of Israel’s most respected physicians specializing in digestive diseases. He currently heads the Department of Endoscopic Methods in Gastroenterology at the largest private clinic in Assuta. The professor has a total clinical experience of about 30 years.

Academic and scientific activities
Prof. Brooke is an active physician. His professional interests include the treatment of various pathologies of the esophagus, stomach, gallbladder, intestines, pancreas and liver.
He pays special attention to traditional and new methods of treatment of hepatitis, fatty hepatosis, cirrhosis and malignant liver tumors, as well as methods of invasive diagnostics of GI diseases – gastroscopy, confocal endomicroscopy, etc.
In addition, Prof. R. Brooke gives lectures to students of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem (Hebrew) Universities. He is the author of more than 100 scientific papers on gastroenterology and hepatology and is a prize winner of the American Medical Association. For his therapeutic, scientific and teaching activities, he has been honored with awards from:
- Israeli Ministry of Health;
- Association of Physicians of Israel;
- Ministry of Education of Israel.
