Professor Tennenbaum is counted among Israel’s leading cardiologists. He specializes in the medical treatment of cardiovascular pathologies, including heart failure and coronary artery disease (CAD). He also treats heart conditions caused by diabetes mellitus. He practices at the Assuta Clinic.
The Professor conducts diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases, including echocardiography and cardiac computed tomography (CT). He carries out rehabilitation for patients following myocardial infarctions and cardiac surgical interventions.
He has been awarded the prestigious Israeli prizes, the Neufeld Award and the Kellerman Award.

Academic and scientific activities
Professor Tennenbaum is the author and co-author of over 140 articles in international medical journals. He founded a new field in cardiology—Cardiovascular Diabetology—and became the Editor-in-Chief of a scientific journal on this discipline published in Great Britain.
He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiology at the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine. He gives lectures for continuing medical education to physicians in the USA, Europe, Japan, and CIS countries.
Membership in medical associations
The Professor is the founder and chairman of the Cardiovascular Pharmacology Subcommittee of the Israeli Heart Association.
