Professor Paran is a Rheumatologist and a specialist in Internal Medicine. She directs the Rheumatology Department’s Day Care Center and the Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS) Clinic at the Ichilov Medical Center. She maintains a private practice at the Assuta Clinic.
The Professor’s core specialization is the treatment of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), offering comprehensive therapy that includes innovative biological drugs based on monoclonal antibodies.

Professor Paran is a lecturer at the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine. She combines clinical work with scientific research, having published around 100 articles in international medical journals throughout her career. Her research topics include:

- The use of biological agents in rheumatoid arthritis and other rheumatological diseases;
