Professor Alhasid is a Pediatrician and Oncohematologist, specializing in the treatment of malignant blood disorders in children. She heads the Pediatric Oncohematology Department at the Ichilov Medical Center and maintains a private practice at the Assuta Clinic.

Professor Alhasid’s main focus is Hematopoietic Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) for oncohematological diseases in children and adolescents.

She has extensive experience in the post-transplant care, including providing parental guidance and managing medication protocols for children who have undergone BMT.

Academic and scientific activities
Professor Alhasid combines clinical, pedagogical, and research activities. She lectures on oncohematology to medical students at the Technion University Faculty of Medicine and to students at the School of Nursing at Rambam Medical Center.
