Professor Yair Morad heads the Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology at Asaf ha-Rofe Medical Center. He is an ophthalmic surgeon with 36 years of experience who treats both adult and pediatric patients, including newborns. The professor often chooses the Assuta Eye Clinic, which has modern ophthalmic operating rooms and the necessary equipment, to perform eye surgeries. Forbes magazine has repeatedly included the professor in its lists of the best doctors of the year. Prof. Morad is skilled in conservative and surgical treatment of a wide range of eye diseases.

Academic and scientific activities
Prof. Morad is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Tel Aviv University. He is involved in the training of future physicians. He is also the author of more than 75 research articles published in international scientific publications. These papers address the issues of:
- Treatment of rapidly progressive myopia;
- Changes in vision with aging;
- Treatment of retinal hemorrhages due to head injuries;
- Use of contact lenses in pediatric cataracts;
- Interdisciplinary care for patients with inherited eye diseases;
- Laser vision correction.
These are only a small part of the topics that Prof. Morad is interested in in his scientific work. He has also authored sections in textbooks for ophthalmologists.
