Prof. A. Golan is one of Israel’s leading obstetrician-gynecologists. He currently heads the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wolfson Hospital and maintains a private practice at the Assuta Clinic.
Prof. Golan performs a wide range of gynecological surgeries, including minimally invasive surgeries performed laparoscopically (through punctures in the abdominal wall) or transvaginally (through the vagina). Prof. A. Golan monitors pregnancies and performs related diagnostic procedures, including amniocentesis. He consults with menopausal women and treats gynecological inflammatory diseases.

Academic and scientific activities
In addition to his clinical work, the Professor is involved in teaching: he lectures to students at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University.
Prof. A. Golan is the author of over 200 scientific articles, as well as chapters in textbooks and monographs.
Membership in medical associations
- Professor is the founder of the Israeli Society for Endoscopic Techniques in Gynecology and was the first chairman of the Society.
- He was the longtime secretary of the Israeli Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
