Professor Herishanu is a hematologist who heads the Chronic Lympholeukemia Clinic at the Hematology Department of the Ikhilov Medical Center. He is in private practice at the Assuta Clinic, where he specializes in the treatment of chronic lympholeukemia. Before starting therapy, the professor conducts a comprehensive assessment of the patient’s condition and the course of the disease, including the presence of concomitant pathologies and genetic disorders. He individually selects the tactics of work with each patient, which may include close monitoring, chemotherapy and modern biological drugs. If necessary and possible, the professor conducts bone marrow transplantation. This method gives the patient hope for a complete cure from leukemia. The professor also knows modern methods of bone marrow transplantation, including mini-transplantation – a more gentle technology that allows for less aggressive chemotherapy. The professor diagnoses and treats a wide range of oncohematological pathologies, including acute leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma.
